We currently have a Sphinx implementation that is being used to process large amounts of data (140 GB in SQL databases and Sphinx indexes). One of our critical set of queries is no longer running optimally due to the large data set. We need some one with experience in SQL query optimization (indexing or procedure) and Sphinx query development (using the Sphinx API or query language) to help us optimize our queries for the application so that they are running quickly and not timing out (due to PHP timeout errors). I have inputs on my site which use Yahoo YUI Autocomplete (likely and older version as it was implemented several years ago). The data is loaded from a sphinx index for responsiveness. Generally the desktop version of the site is decent but the mobile version of the site has very poor responsiveness. A while back some mobile company fixed it but their code is long gone. This requires someone who knows Yahoo YUI well, as well as PHP Zend Yi (possibly) Sphinx (maybe, though I doubt this is relevant) Not sure if 'listeners' or cache but would like the overall responsiveness improved by most definitely the mobile one.
