Your tool is Rapidminer, so upload the data into the RapidMiner. If it is bigger than the capacity that the free RapidMiner version allows you to run the analysis, it automatically gives an error stating that the data is too large. Once you saw that error, you can go back to the main database ( excel in your case) and use an excel function that can automatically delete or remove some of the rows and so the data can become carriable by the RapidMiner.
