Hello, The company I work for is hoping to have data from their CAD DWG files exported directly into a preformatted Excel spreadsheet. They want data like the area of the rooms (polyline) building name and number and the categorization of the room (based on the colour assigned to it). I have been struggling to find any sort of viable solution. I have tried using various scripts for exporting data but since I don't know lisp I haven't been able to make them suit our needs. The main issue I am experiencing is that Excel does not integrate well with AutoCAD so it seems near impossible to be able to customize which cells will be automatically populated.
