Punch up my first chapter with a little light-hearted humor

Contest Brief

I am an attorney, writing a book for marketing purposes. I have written the first chapter and woul like help "punching it up" with a little light-hearted humor, all while staying professional. The tone has to be professional, so not necessarily gut-busters or bathroom humor -- just a lighter touch -- not so serious as I have written it.

I was not sure how much liberty to take with your original text. I can revise more if needed. Thank you for considering my entry! ( #42 )

Do you only want a touch of humour? Keep the original text as it is? I thought the language can be simplified a bit.

Greetings! This sounds like a great project, but as others have suggested it would be a great deal easier if the submission formal included PDF or word doc. Is there any chance you could amend this, or is there a specific reason for requiring picture files?

Also can you make the submission format as pdf? The way you have it set up now, we would have to submit 6 separate picture files as opposed to just one pdf document.

I'm just trying to gauge what type of humor you're looking for. What's your average audience age and income? I'm guessing it skews to elderly right?

Not to suggest that I am ready to submit my entry at this time, but for when the time comes: According to the platform, the only supported file type formats we can use for submitting our entries are image file types (.jpg, .png, etc.). Will it still take a .doc? Do you need to change some settings on your end? Or will I take pictures of my work for you? (Real question.) Sorry, I'm kind of new here! :)

You have to take screenshots of your work and submit that. The settings are correct. No need for any change.
