Contest Brief
I am the director of a non-profit organization called Human Connections (humanconnections.org, more info below) and would like to begin outsourcing our graphic design projects. We regularly need brochures, flyers, t-shirts, and other marketing materials - it would be so wonderful to have one person stay work with us long-term to help keep our style consistent and powerful :)
Our first project is to re-work a flyer that promotes our Global Engagement Trips. Attached is a sample of the flyer (file name is "GET brochure-general") we are currently using, which we made ourselves. We'd like to use this text or the more simplified content pasted into the Google Doc linked below. We want something fresh, somewhat corporate but young and approachable too.
We think our photos are important to conveying our work, and so I've attached my favorite photos, which you're free to use as you'd like for this test flyer. Note that we want to highlight the concept of cross-cultural exchange.
The dimension of this particular flyer should be 5.5in x 8.5in (half-page), with one side in color and the other side monotone. This is a different format than the sample I attached, but helps us keep our costs low during the printing process. We would like to receive the working file in InDesign format so that we can make modifications to the text.
I'm attaching some other designs that I found on the Internet and that I like. These styles are different than what we've done in the past (different from my own sample brochure) but that's what I'm looking for: new inspiration!
Please know that this is our test project! We would love to "e-meet" a designer that can work with us for many years to come.

2. The professors of these students
3. International tourists that travel to Mexico (generally Americans or Canadians aged 45-65)
