Contest Brief
Develop the graphical style for the promotion of the 2019 SoLa Rum, Food, & Wine Festival .

Brief History:
The festival was created to provide the city of Lauderhill with a positive event to promote in the town and attract non-Lauderhill residents to the city. The community has a negative reputation in the media, thus a need to provide positive experiences and highlight the community’s cultural mix -- a Floribbean blend of white, african american, caribbean and latin.
“SoLa” means “It’s So Lauderhill” a branding campaign developed to promote “things to do” in the city.
Marketing Objective:
To create a promotional campaign to 1) promote the 2019 Sola Festival -- the 4th year of the series; 2) elevate the brand’s position with on-trend and aesthetically pleasing design; 3) to develop fresh promotional materials to attract the right partners for the event, including sponsors, vendors and media partners.
