Contest Brief

I have a small farm in Middle River, Maryland with the business name "Dundee Farm LLC".

We have 3 pillars to the current business model.

Production:
The farm currently produces hay, poultry (chicken eggs), some various berries, all sold to the local area.

Land/Property Management Services:
Leveraging the equipment used for our own property (skid steer with various implements) we provide unique services to the surrounding area. These include land clearing, brush clearing, grading, minor excavation. The stuff that's too much for home owners to take on, and too small for construction companies to want. Driveways put in, ATV trails need clearing, that 1/2 acre of your property covered in thicket - all taken care of in a weekend of work.

STEM/ Smart Farming:
My primary job is in IT/Cyber/Computer Science. As a hobby I started using tech to make some parts of farming automated and started testing ways that a minor SCADA/ICS system could be applied to a residential, small farm. So far - I've automated some function of the chicken coop to interact with an AWS instance, update a web page, and control door functions based on the local weather report for accurate sunset/sunrise times. The end goal of this pillar is to provide an attraction of sorts to the local community and an interactive opportunity for neighborhood kids. I.e. Come to the farm and pick up eggs, kids can sit at a control station and turn on sprinklers, dispense feed, change video screens, etc. This is an ongoing effort, mainly to generate interest in the field and spark creativity - not necessarily generate profit.

I've attached files of the equipment used, the SCADA coop project and some aesthetic features of the Farm. The name pays tribute to the creek which runs through the center of the farm, and as a nod to my grandfather who was a boat builder in our area.

I'm looking for a simplistic logo that captures the business for use on a web page and some signage and maybe some apparel for when I am out doing jobs. I also attached some generic logos from one of the "type in info " sites with some traits that I liked.

Some of these look great, but most have a very corporate feel. It would be cool to find a way to incorporate the equipment, like a Digging bucket in the D and the technology used in the 3rd pillar of the business model. We aren't opposed to icons as well beyond just the initials of the business.
