Contest Brief

Starting a new small business in safety training/ self defence & addressing violence & aggression in the workplace (high-risk workplaces such as hospitals, schools, public transport & bars).

There will be a few different webpages (for specific products) - looking for a simple, single or two colour logo for each webpage/ service - but all with same colour and characteristics so they are recognisable as being from the same organisation (very similar in appearance, but different to address each topic).

SAFETY SOLUTIONS - will be mainly auditing/ compliance/ consultancy/ risk assessments/ policy development/ safety incident investigations/ security and counter terrorism - everything from small family business to major construction, transport, mining and government organisations.

SAFETY ACADEMY - will be both face to face and online training - formal qualifications (Australian Accredited) in Safety (like Certificate IV WHS, Diploma WHS, Workers Compensation & Injury Management, Supervisor Safety training, 5, 2 and 1 day Safety Representative Courses) - as well as informal (non-accredited) in almost any safety topic you can think of! From how to conduct an investigation or workplace inspection to legal requirements in your workplace and interpersonal communication skills.

VPTED/ PADOVA - basically the same thing, services here will include self-defence training, how to design (or re-design) workplaces to reduce likelihood of violence, psychology of violence offenders, identifying and reducing aggressive behaviours in the workplace and assisting with workplace audits (both physical environment and activities conducted/ worker and supervisor understanding and tolerance of violence, legal obligations of CEO's, managers, owners in addressing violence) as well as emerging trends and technologies in how to develop and encourage more peaceful/ enjoyable workplace atmospheres. Services will include specific topics targeting mental illness treatment facilities, hospitals, public transport, entertainment and policing/ corrective services environments - although logo should not have blue/ white police or ENFORCEMENT type of feel - this is for people/ positions/ industries that do not get police training, but are regularly confronted with angry or aggressive customers/ clients and/or volatile environments.

CPTED - this service is primarily about auditing/ inspecting/ training and consultancy work in re-designing existing workplaces (by changing colour schemes, furniture/ equipment types and placements, grounds management, security systems, conducting inspections etc..) - to discourage crimes, criminal activity and anti-social behaviours.

I have uploaded a PADOVA logo (wording) - quite like the blue and white - but not limited to it - ANY IDEAS OPEN ! Simple icons for each of the 5 branches would be sufficient - NO WORDING NECESSARY - just a plain, simple logo for each branch (again - icons would be acceptable).

I would prefer broad graphics - not to much detail or fine lines etc.. and solid colour(s) preferred - not blended or shaded or textured colouring - I would like to be able to cut out the logos/ icons on a vinyl cutter for stickers or iron-on logos..

I am looking for LOGO's ONLY - ie: ICON's or similar - no wording in the logo. I will add my own font/colour wording later.

UNLESS - the logo/ icon you submit is part of the actual word.
