Contest Brief

Small painting company in Michigan, USA specializing in fine finishes.

The business is called Parabola Architectural Finishes, LLC.

A parabola in mathematics has the shape of an arch. The spray pattern as it appears when exiting a professional spray gun has a similar arch shaped fan.

I'd like to incorporate a parabola in the logo somehow and it should be obvious that we are a painting company . The spray fan as it comes out of the gun is only one idea so feel free expand on it or any other idea you may have .

I would also like the business name Parabola Architectural Finishes, LLC in print on the logo.

I tend to prefer subtle over flashy artwork. Something that represents "high end" and sophisticated is what I'm looking for .

Best of luck

Darrin

DO NOT SEAL ! You'll get copied items/stock images from internet and no one can report that !! If any designer is confident with his/her design he/she will seal his own entry.

Sealed means, Only you and the entry owner will see the entry. No one can not copy another design. and you will get the unique designs.

Do not "seal" the contest ... as there will be a very high probability that you'll just end up with a generic logo that no one can report against. Appealing for 'sealing' is a common tactic that they know works to hide behind. If they have serious design skills, it costs them only 50 cents to seal their own entry .. problem is that they might end up submitting so many generic entries per person, that that amount tends to rack up. So they burden the CH with the sealing cost.
It's neither fair to you nor to designers who actually put in effort in their designs. I've seen it happen many times over, where a generic entry ends up winning. You can always avoid rating or reject or even report generic entries, but how would you know know what is generic & what is not unless it is pointed out by others or unless you research it yourself? Sealing eliminates all chances of reporting defrauding entries.
