Contest Brief

I'm looking for an iconic logo for an unnamed band of musicians. The concept behind the logo is a "Free Soul." The music is "soul and rock and roll." The band has very strong vocals and lots of soul and funk influence. I'm thinking something like a cool, personified wisp with shades or something. I want this to be the bands mascot so there could be lots of future work for t-shirts and banners etc.
