Stock photos are fine. Also, I don't necessarily need a rotating banner. It could simply be a single, static collage looking banner like the one in the mockup. Thanks.

thanks for the feedback and rating my design... I can and will create images so that you can use it on the website... can I use istockphotos for those ... let me know.

#1 , great entry. You are definitely in the right direction. I like the fact that you stayed close to the sample color scheme. Can you use many images to create a photo collage for the banner (something similar to the mockup, but not necessarily an exact replica)? I think it gives a sense of community and group contribution.
