Contest Brief

With Kanye West throwing his hat in the ring as a 2020 Presidential candidate, we wondered what other celebrities might decide to put themselves in the running. That's where you come in. We want you to design a logo (including campaign slogan) for other celebrities and their hypothetical presidential campaigns. A couple guidelines:
Logos should include the celebrity name, 2020 and a campaign slogan
Logos should be square and at least 1080x1080px
Logo should be for any celebrity of your choosing
Slogan is any slogan of your choosing (no profanity)

    This contest is rigged. The holder only rated entries that were submitted within the first 24hours of the contest, completely ignoring all of the other more qualified logos. I kept refreshing the contest and observed religiously to see if he rated other entries, but for the next few days, he never did. It seems that quality isn't the thing they're looking for at all (just look at the other entries that were given 4 stars). If I submitted a poorly-planned logo within the first 5 minutes upon the contest's announcement, I'm sure I would get rated nonetheless.
    Just in case anyone would say I'm bitter -- yes, I am. On behalf of all the freelancers who spent time and effort on creating their logos but did not get recognized, I am in fact very bitter. Not to the winner, but to the contest holder.

      Ugur, I know the contest holder is Freelancer.com. I know this is for fun. But keep in mind that $1000 is on the line, and let's be real here, that's the driving factor of why freelancers even bothered to submit their entries. Since the prize is extravagant, all of the rated entries should also be extravagant -- one that embodies all of the winning qualities, instructions, and criteria of the contest. If you look at the entries that were rated with 4-stars, they're not even visually appealing let alone humorous. Why would the contest holder rate that when there are other funnier entries? All I'm saying that the rating should be fair, I couldn't care less about who wins as long as the rating was done in the right way. Giving early freelancers a bigger favor is guaranteed to stir up drama especially if the contest is supposedly a week long.

      #Jiki D. I agree 100% with almost everything you wrote. However, you have to consider that early submissions (mine is one of them) have been an ice breakers and inspiration for 1000 of later submissions. If you watch the contest chronologically from the start. you'll see that first submissions were irrelevant (showing Kanya West as candidate). After first round of 5 start rating, freelancers have been find a niche and we have seen more variety in contest. So we have to give credits to that as well. Just want to cover every angle, even though I agree with you that the potential winner(s) have/has to be funny & good looking! Kind Regards!
