Contest Brief

Brief:
We need a free standing roller banner and small table top banner designed for a forthcoming real estate/ property event.
In addition, if you win this project we will most likely ask you to create another similar banner for a further payment.
We are on a very tight timescale so please upload your design as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
Hamlins is a law firm based in central London – we are an entrepreneurial small firm and not a large corporate financial city firm so our brand should reflect this. We like things clean and simple!
Real estate/ Property Service
This will focus on our legal property/ real estate services.
Size and specification
1) Freestanding roller banner: 8m x 2m (artwork with bleed 810 x2060)
2) Table top banner: A3 portrait (artwork with bleed 450 x 307)

Design Guidance
- Hamlins is an entrepreneurial law firm so the design needs to be professional yet clean and modern.
- Our website (hamlins.co.uk) has not been updated for a while so is not an accurate reflection of where we want our brand to be. Please feel free to use some of the elements but you must modernise the feel. However, please don’t use as much orange – there should be a better balance of orange to blue, grey, black and white
- A better style to mimic is the one on the ECB pitch document which uses our logo, colours and circular images well. The use of thin line and dots works well in this too.
- Font – please use similar font to the one in the ECB document but we don’t have a specified font you need to use.
- The imagery should include images of buildings (In London only). See uploaded the 2 we usually use. It may be office buildings, shopping complexes, construction, apartments etc but not famous landmarks.
- Roller Banner: The Hamlins logo and HPN logo need to be near the top and relatively large – as we often have the banner behind speakers at events and the photos are then added to social media. See https://www.hamlins.co.uk/hamlins-property-network-2016
- Table top: this will go on the table in the reception area when people register for the event so the font should be clear enough to read properly. Please keep it clean and simple.
