Contest Brief

We need a logo for our website and project. The project is in healthcare technology and big data mining. We are analysing unprecedented quantities of blood test results using very sophisticated computers.
The project is called PIT-M3D (stands for: Pathology Information Technology Medical 3 Dimension).
We think the key ideas are: blood, blood test, computer, data, big data, statistical analysis and healthcare.
We would like the logo to reflect the name of the project (name can be part of the logo and added anywhere around the logo) and we also would like an icon (smaller version of the logo for letterheads and websites). We require high res reusable files.
We think simple is better.
We don't have a view on colour scheme fewer tones rather than multi colour is probably better suited.
No other project does what we do but you can find similarities with projects in genome research for instance.
