Contest Brief

Looking to design a logo and website interface for a new business.

FlyDriveShip.com is a website targeting travelers that want to FLY to the USA, DRIVE a classic car they have purchased and SHIP it home at the end of their vacation.

Deliverable: PSD files and all fonts required.

We have clear ideas on the look and feel of what we are after - 1950's / 1960's travel posters with a RETRO FEEL. The look and feel must capture the viewer with the mystery, fund and adventure that this holiday is going to be.

Key items in the design:
- Retro USA map or part/s of it
- Retro font and colors
- Retro image/s of classic US cars/motorcycles
- Retro images/icons to famous US landmarks (Statue of Liberty, Route 66, Golden Gate Bridge, Hollywood Sign, Empire State Building, Grand Canyon)
- Retro logo FlyDriveShip.com

I am not sure how you are going to tie it all together - that is your job to work out. Maybe something like this might work but don't get it in your head that this is the only way: https://www.andersondesigngroupstore.com/images/adgcontent/slideshow/ASA_Slider2.jpg

The website will be fairly basic, a splash page and an information/contact us page so the design will need to include both pages. The main logo will need to be scaleable for magazine and banner advertising.

The splash page will need some text on it to help with SEO. The navigation will be small for now (Home, More Info) but the interface must be designed to cope with expansion to 4 - 5 buttons/icons.

I am a very experienced web designer/developer - if you are going to present cookie cutter templates you have shoved a few images in don't even bother wasting your time submitting they will be rejected.

I look forward to your submissions and hopefully that you can capture the look and feel I am aiming for on this one.
