Contest Brief

I need to gather contact information from some Universtities and Colleges in New York. I am looking to collect information on professors that teach in the following departments/programs: Mathematics, Mathematics Education (Secondary Mathermatics Education), Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Special Education. I need the name, position, email address, phone number, department or program name for which the person works, for at least two professors in each of the above departments/programs. You may collect such info for the chair or director of the program, or dean of school of education, but I am targeting particularily mathematics teacher educators (preferabily full time professors, associate professors) who prepare preservice teachers to teach in elementary, middle or high school and who are most knowledgable about their programs. Single subject credential program coordinators and multiple subject credential coordinators would be great to get also. You can find such contact info on the website of each teacher preparation institution especially under the program's name. Although, for some institutions you have to search for the general faculty list if such a list is not provided for each department/program. You might find positions such as "Professor of teacher education" but then you need to check what subject that professor teaches and try to find the ones that teach mathematics. For early childhood and elementary education, you may or may not be able to find professors who teach specifically mathematics because the programs may be multiple subject programs. These credential programs/departments are mainly offered in the college of education or school of education (not including the mathematics department) and sometimes they have their own website. Those education departments may have many similar programs such as Educational Leadership or Teacher Education, but teacher education programs are the ones that should have the faculty list and info I need.

Even though I alrady collected information on the first 20, I want you to gather the same data just to make sure you're doing it right.

The contest will be awarded to the first person who submites a compelted list with the correct information.
