Report Entry

Rotating Globe

I made a small video explaining what this is and what my plan is: https://youtu.be/OlsPp-nu3Xc It's a unique and special idea and you really shouldn't settle for anything less than perfect. I showed you my plan, what I'm gonna use to create this and how long it might take, that's all I can really do for now. Thanks for reading and watching, Mario Adabachy.

    Congrats, Mario.
I've read most of your comments now. Firstly, I did not steal anybody's work. I read all of the licenses that I've used for the code. And here is a fact: they are open-sourced and can be used for commercial jobs (like this contest) as long as you credit the coder in codes.
Here is another thing. You do not need to discover America again. If something is found already and its founder let you use it, you can use it.

If you do not want to use it, then you shouldn't have implemented "http://makc.github.io/three.js/map2globe/demo.html" too. It makes no sense when you implement some other codes in your code too.
Also, it is also "MY WORK", I've added, changed, removed seriously amount of codes. Lastly, the contest holder saw my capabilities. I've done anything he wanted, as he wanted.
I will not disrespect you or your work like what you did to me and my work.
Anyway, I do not want to be salty at all. Hope you enjoy your paycheck!

      Dear contest holder,
it was a pleasure to work for you. But I would like to say something to you as well. In my opinion, work ethics are important. I know that people will always talk behind and be rude to each other, but it is sad and wrong. I believe that you should warn them before work with them.
      Thank you.

I cannot extend it, but I am allowed to wait up to 30 days before awarding someone; so I can give you some more time.

Please be ready by Monday if you can. I will be busy over the weekend. I will be able to award by then.

    Mario,

$1000 for a responsive WebGL front page is do-able for me, with it separated into different milestones.

However, recruiting you for this would be a high-risk project. You're selling me on the idea, and taking me back to the root dream of my envisioned website, but I'm having a hard time biting that for $1000 I should just hire you, as opposed to holding a $1000 contest.

Also, being that you only have 2 reviews, I cannot be convinced you will stick it out until the end, despite your word. No disrespect intended, that's just a very common flaw with Freelancer.com and I've experienced it, personally, numerous times; especially with higher cost projects.

And finally, and most importantly, do you have another related project that you have completed entirely to show me? Being that I've studied WebGL lightly, I know the difference between beginners work, and absolute masterpieces: https://experiments.withgoogle.com/chrome/globe

    Mario,

Thanks for making the video explaining.

I'm familiar with WebGL, as I've attempted to learn it to design my original website. As you know, there's a LOT of work involved in making not only a good WebGL page, but also a responsive one for mobile (as you've addressed).

When I picture my organization succeeding in the years to come, I expect it to have a form of hybrid WebGL-wiki website. That's the future of our organization.

However, even for just a front page concept, the amount of work and cost involved with this would not be worth it to me. I just need something rather simple for now, to get my community started.

In the future, this is exactly what my website will consist of. For now, I'll need to say no.
