Contest Brief

I'm looking for ideas for my attic master bathroom.

Here are some details:

Ceiling is 8’ at highest point
Roof has 5/12 pitch
Room size is 9’x14’

Need a large shower, tub, vanity (double?), toilet, shelves for towels etc.

Toilet should be enclosed with glass walls, wall should not reach till ceiling

Tub should have a platform with steps built around it for easy access

Back wall of toilet can have dormer window behind it

Looking at it from left to right, the entrance is on the bottom left wall.

Need a floor plan and a 3d rendering

I appreciate the effort everybody is putting in into their designs. Some design are really looking good but are missing the point that its in a attic. Its going to have a sloped ceiling not a leveled ceiling. I uploaded a sketch of the elevation with measurements, and I'd like the design to reflect it.

Are the existing location had a window? Besides if the installation of water / plumbing already exists, please show us the position. Thanks

There is no existing window. Also there is no plumbing or electricity installed, so you can place everything anywhere

Slope is to both sides. Door will have the same angle as the roof pitch

Hi! I would like to come with a design solution for you, but I don't really get the section of the room. Where is the highest and the lowest point of the roof ? Thank you !

When you look at the file I uploaded you will see that the center line is noted as the highest point of the roof. The highest point is 8 foot and getting lower according to the 5/12 pitch on both sides
