Great news, Freelancer mobile app users! New features have been added on to mobile, like Post a Project (for both iOS and Android) and Edit Profile Feature (for Android). Scroll down to read more about these awesome updates.

Posting a Project Using the iOS App

You don’t have to get tied to your desktop. With the iOS app, it’s easy to post projects and hire freelancers while on the go:

1. Tap the “Post a Project” option from the menu to view the list of different project categories.

2. Choose your project category and follow prompts to provide details on your project such as budget and description.

3. When you’re happy with the details, submit your project to start receiving bids!

Once your project is published, you can go to “My Projects” to view project details and bids from interested freelancers.

Did you see a proposal that could be a good match for your project? Just tap on the freelancer's name in the ‘Bids’ section and instantly start discussing project details from your phone.

Post Projects for Employers

Posting a project on mobile has been heavily simplified to save you time and effort when you are on the go:

1. Start by selecting the “Post a Project” from the menu and choose a category that best fits your project.

2. Answer a few basic questions about your project, and specify the work you’re expecting from the freelancer.

3. Decide on a budget for your project.

4. Review the project summary and make any final changes before you submit your project.

The process of posting a project designed to take under 60 seconds, resulting in a simplified experience that saves you time and effort. 

Edit Profile Feature for Freelancers

Your profile is your primary selling tool for potential employers, so it’s important that you keep it up to date. Now, you can edit your profile straight from the app! It lets you make immediate changes, increasing your chances of getting recognized by potential employers. Here’s how you update your profile:

1. Change your profile image by taking a photo or choosing from any of the images saved in your Android device.

2. Specify your job title, provide a short description of yourself in the sub-heading and summary sections.

3. Add or edit your skills, and that’s it -- you’re set to win projects!
