What made you start Freelancing?

I started freelancing full time in 2008 , I always wanted to be my own boss and have my own hours, I was tired of working someone else..So far life has been very good working on freelancer.com, for all the new users who sign up on freelancer stay positive , getting that first project is always the toughest but stay cool, have a good portfolio to show clients why they should work with you.

What is your favourite aspect about working on Freelancer.com?

Favorite aspect of working on freelancer is I am my own boss and i love it. Before I used to work 8am-6pm , commuting almost 1 hour each way and the pay was horrible…Now I am making much more just working few hours a day from the comfort of my own house.

What are your tips for managing your time and workload?

My main tip would be to be stay as organized as possible, deliver projects you have won on time so that it does not create a backlog of getting other projects done on time.

What kinds of hours do you work? For instance, do you like to keep traditional 9-5 or are you a night owl?

I work whenever I want…I get up at 10am, work till 4pm, then continue back later 9pm-midnight, sometimes later:)

What do you like doing when you are not working?

On my free time, I love to play beach volleyball, fishing, spending time with family.

What is the coolest thing you have bought yourself or your family with the money you have made on Freelancer?

Freelancer has been good to me, knock on wood:) I just bought a brand new jeep wrangler 25k, it pays all my bills without having to work for others.

And last but not least…

“My personal philosophy is…” Life is SHORT, enjoy it as much as you can, be happy.
