I have a CAD background using Solid Edge ST3 from SIEMENS PLM Group - able to edit and produce all of the industry standard file formats (.STL, .IGES, .STEP, .X_T, etc., 2-D .DXF & .DWG AutoCAD formats). I also have designed and patented several consumer/commercial based products currently under review for such marketing channels as Walmart, Home Depot, QVC, HSN, Lowes, Bed, Bath & Beyond and the like. In addition, I have an extensive background in Rapid Prototyping and materials along with several patented inventions to my name. I am very familiar with such processes as injection molding, blow molding, SLS & SLA models, silicon LIM, roto-molding, over molding and 2-shot injection molding, structural foam (RIM) technology, aluminum extrusions, anodizing, 3, 4 and 5 axis machining as well as other processes to create prototypes/production objects. ***************************************************************** I also have a long history in building residential housing, starting in the early 1990's. As such, I can read, modify existing and create new construction drawing sets. I am very familiar with all the components which make up drawings such as: Floor Plans, Elevations, Roof Plans, Joist Layouts, Electrical Plans, Foundation Plans, Grading Plans, Wall Cross-Sections, House Sections, etc.. I have further backgrounds in alternative construction methods such as, but not limited to: Insulated Concrete Form (ICF), Hay Bale, Rammed Earth, Post and Beam, Log, Solar Envelope, etc. ***************************************************************** Database Administration / Designer and Data Modeler. My responsibilities include administering several SQL Server database servers hosting critical applications. Highlights include: • Monitor database access • Constantly tuning databases for application performance • Define and implement database backup strategies • Design database mirroring strategies • Model new database applications • Normalization of data models • Evaluate existing data models • Re-hosting databases • Distribute user transaction loads • Establish user account definitions and access levels • Monitor CPU utilization on all database tasks and tune accordingly • Perform database index maintenance when required • Define database Disaster Recovery (DR) plans Other responsibilities include conducting research in distributed database design using wide and local area networks and provide conflict resolution solutions between different project database designs.
