Hi there,
I have a project that requires the writing of a script to query a javascript API and input the data into a mySQL database.
This query needs to run each day (can be done through cron jobs or similar) and only write to the database when the API returns a results which is different to that stored in the database (only record changes).
Since thousands of products need to be queried I believe that node.js will need to used to ensure that multiple connections can be used.
Documentation of the API will be provided. Once it's been tested, the scripts will need to be implemented on Bluehost (a web hosting provider).
