Mass Mail SMTP Setup Guidance

I am in need of assistance for setting up an SMTP for mass mailing. I'm currently using Gmail as my email service provider and I'm looking to send approximately more than 10,000 emails per day. I am not yet sure whether to host the SMTP server on my own server or to use a third-party service.
Ideal candidates for this job would have:
- Excellent knowledge of SMTP servers
- Experience with high-volume email sending
- Familiarity with both self-hosted and third-party SMTP services
- A good understanding of Gmail's limitations and work-arounds, considering this is my current email service provider.
Your task will be to provide guidance on the best setup according to my needs, taking into account the volume of emails to be sent, as well as setting up the server itself. I look forward to your bids.
