Upgrade custom classified Wordpress site

Project Description:
Looking to take my live, existing classified-theme Wordpress website (Classipress) have these jobs completed with a high-level of skill:1. Take all existing code and re-integrate it into the Classipress API to bring site code up to date with exisiting mods - so I can upgrade code with new releases of Classipress in future without affecting mods (like a child theme but for code).
2. Fix all existing bugs noted by me and newly discovered ones if any after upgrade
3. Make new mods to code and discuss what is possible for others:
e.g. User page with user-editable gallery and comments enabled, mass relisting, removing items after 35 days after marked sold, etc.
4. Help integrate Auction plugin to Classipress
5. Possibly modify database based on custom post types in use to achieve greater speed
I am looking for something with excellent communication, both verbal and written. Availabel on Skype etc. and willing to stick with me for what could be a VERY fruitful venture.

03/04/2012 at 11:42 GMT:Can you just send my a markup of index.php so I can change the code in my custom one. I also need to know what code is added to style.css.
Since my site is custom it might be better if you take a look first, and I use Featured Ribbon already.
My I can hire you for my phase 1 upgrade anyway - can you quote for:
1. UPGRADE to Classipress 3.17 - AND take all existing code and re-integrate it into the Classipress API to bring site code up to date [B]with exisiting mods[/B] - so I can upgrade code with new releases of Classipress in future without affecting mods (like a child theme but for code).
2. Fix all existing bugs noted by me and newly discovered ones, if any, after upgrade (Maps API, search price ribbons, Popular posts counts, etc.)
3. Help integrate Auction plugin to Classipress (ready for purchase)
4. Help Integrate Grid mod for Classipress (already purchased)
5. Speed Improvements - modify database based on custom post types in use to achieve greater speed and/or modify site to align with GTMetrix suggestions
6. SEO check-up to attain better rank for 5 specific keywords
I am going to be moving to WP Engine and they will migrate it so you could work with site live on there (or local for you) for 15 days.
