Project Description:
I am having some jQuery/JavaScript related problems that I need fixed on this web site -- http://bit.ly/LsGPsH. The site uses Joomla on the backend and also uses PHP code, so please have experience with Joomla and PHP.

1. The navigation menu on the *left* side of the screen (a vertical display of 17 thumbnail images), occasionally appears in the center of the screen. (Please see attached screenshot.) Currently, this left side navigation panel is *deactivated* on my site, but you can see a live example of the same script on another site that is using the same template, where the left side navigation panel is activated -- http://bit.ly/NGGiBJ. This error happens maybe once in every 20-30 page loads on my site (only) and usually right away after I make an edit to a page using Joomla. I am told by another programmer that it is a conflict between the script that handles the left side navigation panel and one of the other scripts on the site.

2. When the left side navigation panel is activated, the scroll up/scroll down feature on the JavaScript-created window does not work on the "Portfolio" pages (or on any other page that has enough content on the page to make scrolling necessary). I am told this is also a conflict between the same script that manages the left-side navigation and the script that handles the scroll up/scroll down, but I am not certain. The scroll up/scroll down works now only because the left-side navigation menu is temporarily disabled until the conflict can be repaired.

3. When on any page of the site, if I press SHIFT-RELOAD on my web browser, the "Biography" page fades in and and out briefly for about 1-2 seconds before showing the correct page. The "Biography" page should only appear if I load the Biography page.

4. When I click to go to the home page -- http://bit.ly/LsGPsH -- the grey "down arrow" graphic that appears to the right of the "Contact" link in the top center of the page is supposed automatically to retract after 12 seconds, or if the user clicks to visit any other page on the site. It is not doing that. It was working before, but all of the sudden stopped working when a programmer was making some changes to the site for us.

5. (**OPTIONAL**) At the very bottom center of the page, currently we have a Facebook icon and a Twitter icon. The icons are in gray, and they turn gold color when you mouse over them. We want to add a LinkedIn icon/link. Please take the 15x15 icon on this page -- http://press.linkedin.com/logo-images -- and convert it to the same matching color gray and gold, and implement it on this page next to the Facebook icon linking to our LinkedIn page. (***NOTE*** Please indicate in the PMB or your bid comments if your bid does *not* include #5 from this list. If you do not say anything, I will assume you will complete #5. I am making #5 optional, because I realize many programmers don't do graphic work.)

If you do a great job for us, we will have additional projects on this site and others that we can offer you. We are looking for a long-term relationship with a skilled programmer.

FINAL NOTE: I am very price sensitive, so please bid accordingly. If someone bids the right amount *and* can commit to finishing the work quickly, then I will likely end bidding on this project and select you within then next 12-24 hours from now. So, if you bid, please be prepared to start work immediately or very soon. Thank you for your interest in this project, and I look forward to working with you.
