Magento Invoice and Shipping Label Customizations

Project Description:

We are a small e-commerce company in India and would want to do a few customizations on our Magento 1.5.1 Backend to help our workflow. These are the following modifications needed:

1. When we export the orders to a CSV we would want another column with the items ordered.

2. When we export the shipments to a CSV we would want another column with the Tracking Number so that we can maintain a MIS report on our side.

3. Invoice Customizations.

Apart from the standard invoice we have we want to customize the generated invoice and add the following:

- A little bit of graphics work to include the logo more prominently and our address.
- Include static details "Invoice" to " Retail Invoice"
- Include static details "This is a electronically generated invoice and does not require signature" in the bottom
- Include static details such as Company's VAT TIN number, Service Tax Number and PAN number.
- Include static details such as " Our company name, Address, Visit us at rooja.com or write to us at "
- Scannable barcode for the order number on the top - this is just the order number lets sat 100034566 printed in Barcode format
- A lot of our orders are Cash on Delivery - for them Mention ex " CASH ON DELIVERY AMOUNT: Rs. 900" more prominently and same for Credit Card Payments "Paid using Credit Card" - we already have it but it needs to stand out more.
- Mention "Total QTY: 2" for the whole order.
- The price the customer pays includes taxes already. However for accounting purposes we need to set proper taxes for different kinds of products and show that on the invoice. For example if something is for Rs 803 for the customer he doesn't need to pay taxes on checkout but we need to split it up and show the taxes in the invoice.

ex a product with price 113.15 will need to show the following in the invoice: Rate 113.14, Amt 113.15 (depends on quantity), Tax type - CST(12.5%), Tax 14.14, Total 128. We are able to set the Tax Type on the backend for a product.

Finally for the whole order a few fields like Amount Before Taxes: 709.83, Tax Amount 93.17, Shipping Charge 0, Grand Total 803 need to be there.

4. Packing Slip Customizations

- Mention prominently our address and the Consignee's Address VERY prominently - our logistics company often reads it wrongly and sends our packages back to us.
- For COD orders mention VERY VERY Prominently in huge fonts - COD SHIPMENT COLLECT ONLY CASH , Total Collectible : RS 803.00.
- For Credit Cards - again mention prominently " Already Paid"
- Barcode for Order Number on Packing Slip.
- Barcode for TRACKING NUMBER very prominently. Ideally we will use a barcode scanner to scan the tracking numbers already given to us by our courier company and when we ship a product scan it and populate the tracking field on the backend. Make sure the same info goes into the packing slip including the name of the Courier company.

Example we will enter LD372894 on the tracking info on the backend and it should print out the same on the packing slip in the barcode formate.
- If "Undelivered Please return to..blah blah our address" at the bottom.
- Mention "Contains fragile item, handle with care"
- Packing Slip should Contain details of the invoice including contents and price.
