Project Description:
We are a European based company looking for full-time / part-time virtual assistants, who can write PERFECT English, preferably native speakers. Your main job is to write ABOUT WordPress for our WordPress related blogs. You will start with writing short descriptions for a website (NOT article marketing!) about various WordPress theme providers like Woothemes, StudioPress etc. These descriptions should be in 300-350 words where you describe the company itself, their theme framework (if they use), their theme niches, pricing structure, support options and other important things. Later you will have to write more detailed and very well researched reviews about WordPress plugins, themes and books, comparisons between WP plugins and themes, plugin and theme descriptions and other general articles related to WordPress.
The prerequisites for this role are EXCEPTIONAL English writing skills, looking for long term relationship, will do what ever it takes to do a job well.
Here are some of the tasks you will be expected to do if you fit the criteria:
CONTENT CREATION
* Write reviews about certain WordPress themes, books and plugins (like http://bit.ly/6K2ucl), create comparisons (like http://bit.ly/fBZZTZ)
* Write short product descriptions (WordPress plugins, themes, books etc.)
* Ability to write and publish daily blog posts on our blog regarding newly published WordPress themes (like http://bit.ly/gZ7m80) and plugins (you need to have *basic* photoshop/image editing skills too!)
* Writing a weekly newsletter
RESEARCH
* Finding new premium WordPress plugins, themes, books etc. - daily task
* Create detailed comparisons between certain WordPress products in table form (like http://bit.ly/gxx6Ap)
* Using Google RSS Reader and other software systems - daily
* Data mining through websites for businesses - daily
OTHER
* Where required find other resources to perform certain tasks
* Follow up on tasks with other resources where required
* Daily updates should be provided in a short report format
We are looking for a person and *not* someone who has a team of people they manage. So any outsource companies do not reply, your application will be ignored.
We work with TimeDoctor, project management and monitoring software similar to oDesk Review. Payment will be send by PayPal, when desired we can work initially with escrow.
IMPORTANT: with your bid please state the minimum hours you wish to work and the maximum number of hours you are able to work in a week, and if your bid is based on a week or month. Also please provide samples of your written content, if you don't have any feel free to write a sample description for iThemes (http://www.ithemes.com) in 300-350 words.
Bid only if you are confident, have interest in WordPress, can finish tasks in given time frames, can comfortably work on your own and most important, a MOTIVATED person as this is a PERMANENT position, *not* for 1-2 months.
