I am a freelance web developer based in Brighton, UK but am able to travel to work on location when required.
I specialise in coding Object Orientated PHP 5 systems and website components as well as MySQL database administration and Linux server administration. In addition I have well rounded experience in Search Engine Optimisation, website usability and internet marketing generally.

Integration of automated and manual lead conversion reports from partners i.e. retrival of reports via FTP, SOAP, etc. report processing/data conversion and data storage.

PDF based invoice and payment report generation
Mass payment processing systems to deliver funds by bank transfer or paypal

Development and testing of the credit scoring engine in PHP/MySQL with assistance from experts in the field;
Development of backend systems to store users search data to allow muliple searches to be referenced by users;
Neighbourhood ranging calculations to determine credit scores within a particular area;
Backend systems to manage incoming lead distribution amongst relevent loan provider partners
Backend systems to submit leads to loan provider partners via email, HTTP POST, XML and SOAP methods
Backend systems to integrate automated and manual lead reports from partners back into the company's main reporting engine i.e. retreval and processing of CSV and XML documents via FTP, SOAP, XMLRPC, etc.

This site is one of my more recent personal projects address a need I had for a centralised Gumtree ads page and an experiment in building an object oriantated rapid plugin development framework for wordpress.
I'm currently offering it as a beta service should anyone also need the same kind of centralised ad management system for gumtree and in the mean time to streamline the underlying framework I'm putting together.
There's lots planned in the pipeline for this site, it's design, it's management interface and most importantly for me, the underlying code, so watch this space... |

I was resposible for running all aspects of the Vega Science Trust's online presence from the servers and backend systems to the copywriting of frontend pages.
The site itself was designed by Sir Harry Kroto and I implimented it on his behalf. As a result I was not responsible for the quality of the graphical work...
The work had heavy focus on running reliable streaming media solutions (Real Media, Flash Video, Quicktime, Generic MP3 Streaming...) on a very tight budget as well as doing scientific educational outreach work with schools around the world via video conferencing.
During my time at Vega I also built numerous IT servers and systems, converted their entirewebsite from 100's of static html files to running off of a full, custom built PHP/MySQl CMS |
