Contest Brief

MMO Lab is an innovative, easy to use platform allowing anyone to create 2D, browser based Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) games without any programming skills using a simple modular design.

We're looking for a distinctive logo with a strong visual component above and beyond a purely textual logo.

No Clipart or other free image library artwork should be used.
Logo must be usable and stand out on both black and white backgrounds

A mature, professional logo, nothing that seems to childlike, overtly violent or includes typical 'gaming' icons such as controllers, joysticks etc.
Lab should refer more to 'creation' rather than being overtly scientific, we're not a science company, perhaps using building blocks to represent the modular design system of the engine.
Must include the product name: MMO Lab
MMO Lab should be displayed as MMO Lab or MMO LAB

The logo must be scalable to different sizes in order to be used for:
Website homepage.
Social Media Avatars.

Entries should stick as close to the design brief as possible, although if you have a particularly strong, left-field idea we're open to it.

The successful entry should include all original files used in the creation of the logo in (.psd ) format.

Updated Notes:
- Designs should not be formatted so that the logo appears to read as 'MOM Lab' to the casual observer.
- Designs should attempt to convey brand concepts such as "building", "creation", "modular" possibly through the use of building blocks or similar.
- Please use 'MMO Lab' not 'MMO Labs' as that is not our product name
- 'Lab' should not be overwhelmed by 'MMO' as they are equally important
- The logo text should be legible even at small sizes such as 50 pixels in height
- It's helpful if each submission is shown on a black and a white background
- From the submitted designs we're decided that we are looking for vibrant blue or purple colours
